Strengths-based Blended Personalized Learning
This presentation was created and produced over the course of a weekend between July 24th-26th for a MEDS 530 – Critical Issues in Special Education course through Vancouver Island University. The audio was recorded under sleep deprivation as I was working on a tight deadline Monday morning and had to stay up all night Sunday to ensure it was submitted by the deadline.
I’m happy to report that in spite of the sleep deprivation and hitting a metaphorical wall shortly after turning it in, I received my first100% in a post-secondary assignment EVER, and also happy to report that achieved an A+ in both of my M.Ed. classes this summer. Despite the perfect grade for the presentation, I could see room for improvement. I picked up some great tips and tricks from my classmate’s presentations and have a new and improved version of this presentation that allows the viewer to proceed through the slides at their own pace and click on the hyperlinks and audio recordings that can accompany specific slides.
